My Commencement Day (080709)
Posted at Thursday, July 9, 2009
Yesterday was my commencement day. Felt so happy as it was a long-waited day after so many years of study. And, I was scared as well in the morning. I scared I will fall down when I go up on stage. It will be very 'malu' if this happens (Luckily no, thanks...).
At the start of the graduation ceremony, I almost cried out (only with tears rolling inside my eyes) when everyone stood up for the Singapore National's song. At that time, I have a deep feeling and felt touch that I have finally achieved it although I think that I have '混' most of the time for the past four years. Haha... Took a lot of photos yesterday but now i realised I didn't take photos with memorial sceneries and with funny poses. Haiz...wasted.... But, my parents always told me that nothing is perfect so no need to aim for perfectness all the time. Haha...weird right? Because most of the parents want their children to get everything perfect especially in Singapore-'kiasu society'. But, I know that my parents don't want me to get too stress (Yeah!!!). Stress most of the time will only make things worse.
Now is a new start to my next phase of life. Hope that I will go on smoothly forever and ever....
